From time to time we receive photos that our customers send to us and we also see posted images on various blogs of our charts in action all over the State. Some of our ISLA users are excellent photographers; we have seen some very uniquely composed images showcasing boats and our charts in action on the water including running in fog, at night, and in many unique picturesque locations.
In 2024, we will run an image contest each quarter and select the top three images from all of the entries we receive during each quarter. It is free to enter. If you would like to enter, just email your high resolution image(s) to Info@ISLAmapping.com with your contact information. You may email up to 5 images each quarter. You can also post your images here if you wish to share with others to garner popular support but we need them emailed to us as well to enter. If you win, we will send you a hat and a fishing shirt. At the end of 2024, we will select the best overall image from all of the entries for the year and that user will receive $500 cash. The winners will be contacted so they can choose colors and the size they would like and the winning images each quarter will be posted here on our ISLA FB page and in our recurring newsletters. All of the best quality images including those that did not win will be posted to a new section on our website for user provided photos. We may choose to showcase your photo on one of our primary website pages. Our high quality hats and SPF fishing shirts and hoodies can be viewed at our on line store.
The winning entries must show your GPS Display running our charts. How you choose to compose the image is up to you. Other boaters are always interested to see the various set ups and mounts used by others for their boats.
Below are some examples. If the contest was going on in 2023, Honson Lau of South Florida would have been the grand prize winner with his very unique night image exiting Flamingo Marina into the shallow darkness of the Everglades.
Let the contest begin!
